Deputy shot dog in August (North Platte Telegraph) A local resident has reported that a third dog was shot by a law enforcement officer in the past two months in the North Platte area. On Aug. 23, a Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputy shot and wounded a 3-year-old Griffon.
