A 4-year-old Australian shepherd dog that a Richmond court last week determined to be dangerous has been released from the city pound pending an appeal. Moira Carapico, sister of the dog's owner, Sheila Carapico, said that after inspecting her yard, officials with the city's Department of Animal Care and Control agreed she could keep the dog for the time being.
