Acombat vet who lost bothlegs to a bomb in Afghanistan has a new four-legged friend to help him out. Canines for Combat Veterans graduated its first combat veteran and service dog team, Army veteran Roland Paquette of New Mexico and his dog, Rainbow, yesterday in Leominster.

Dog bites 13-year-old in the face (Glenwood Springs Post Independent)
Police were called to Valley View Hospital Tuesday afternoon after a dog bit a 13-year-old boy on the face. The boy received four stitches under his right eye, four in his chin, and 10 in his right cheek, according to police reports.
