Dog owner accused of abuse pleads no contest (Fairfield Echo)
OXFORD ? While an animal cruelty case is held up in court, a rescued dog remains without a home, humane society officials said. The dog, a white German shepherd and husky mix, had a chain embedded in its neck when it was found in March.
