Dog shot by arrow (Lexington Herald-Leader) A dog was put down yesterday after someone shot it in the head with an arrow. Police responded about 3 p.m. after the owner called to say his dog had been shot, said Chief Nathan Bowling of Lexington-Fayette Animal Care and Control.
